Hayahoshiseiko was founded in Toyama in 1963. In the 60 years since, we have kept on machining parts, bearing rings above all. The parts inside a machine are hidden from view. Yet if a dimension is off by even a fraction, the machine stops. That unseen core is what we have been entrusted with.

What I aim for is not the kind of automation that anyone with enough money could buy. It is manufacturing that other companies cannot copy, in fields where human feel and sensibility are indispensable. Work that anyone can do reliably, we leave to robots and systems. That frees our highly skilled machinists to devote themselves to designing processes and to the difficult challenges of breaking through technical barriers. This division of roles is what lets us handle both mass production and one-offs in the same factory.

Experience and instinct are valuable assets. That is exactly why we check them against data. By making machine utilization and even small losses visible, we guarantee quality and reduce costs at the same time. This is the foundation that lets customers with demanding requirements entrust their work to us with confidence.

We aim to be a company where people work together across departmental boundaries toward one goal: delivering each product to our customers. I used to take everything on myself. Now I trust our people and leave the work in their hands. My hope is to build a workplace where everyone can take on challenges without fear of failure, and to grow as a company together with the employees who support us. Even when a method is new to us, I will keep learning alongside our team.

Going forward, we will put our effort into machining the single part that others have turned down. It isn't worth the setup, the drawing is old, the material is hard to get. We believe that parts left with nowhere to go for reasons like these are exactly where we come in. Since 2023 we have been working as a group with Co Creation and Ueda Metal Works, so we can now take on work from the material stage, from patterns and casting through to precision turning.
